Details:
WPRI-TV is seeking a full-time TV photojournalist to join our news team based in the Providence, Rhode Island area. Television news photojournalists combine artistic talent and technical expertise to gather information, shoot video, edit and deliver creative visual news stories for broadcast television and online platforms. We shoot on various models of Sony XDCAM cameras, edit on Adobe Premiere and primarily use TVU for liveshots. We also have microwave vans, a satellite truck and Starlink units available to photogs, depending on the assignment. Our team provides accurate and high-quality journalism to the southern New England region, including all of Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.

Requirements:
Must be able to operate computers, cameras and vehicles in a high stress environment with deadline pressures and the demands of breaking news, which can happen at any time. The position will require day-to-day multi-tasking, as well as managing multiple projects simultaneously with frequent change in direction and priority.
